Arneet Singh Batra

Chef Arneet Singh Batra began his culinary career at just 20, managing his family’s restaurant in New Delhi, India. Over seven years, he gained hands-on experience across kitchen operations, menu development, purchasing, staff management, and hospitality. After the restaurant closed during the pandemic, Arneet moved to Canada to pursue formal culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa and Algonquin College. His Canadian career has included Italian cuisine and mentorship under renowned Chef Joe Thottungal of Coconut Lagoon and Thali. Today, he works with Chef Ric’s at The Ottawa Mission, bringing together his international experience, resilience, and passion for food.
